White Pines Real Estate

Small but mighty, White Pines gets their message across for visitors from the first moment they
arrive via Highway 4, where a sign proudly states, “White Pines is not Arnold!” As one of the
first Arnold-area communities, some of the historic homes date back to the days when logging
was the main (only?) industry. Today, White Pines is home to the idyllic White Pines Lake,
which has undergone extensive renovations. White Pines Park starts at the south end of the
lake and features beach and picnic areas, and a children’s playground. Also located on the
south side of the lake is Independence Hall Community Center, a public-use facility where local
clubs and organizations gather for meetings and events; Hazel Fischer Elementary School; and
the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum. At the north end of the lake is a public recreation area with

a ball field and frisbee golf course. Homes in White Pines are on the city sewer system and are
served by Calaveras County Water District.
