Big Trees Village HOA Real Estate
Big Trees Village is known for its idyllic, yet rustic mountain vibe. At 5,000 feet and less than 10 miles east of Arnold, Big Trees Village is perfect for those who welcome a little more snow – almost twice as much as Arnold! The Big Trees Village HOA is optional, though most homeowners choose to take part in it due to the many family-friendly features, especially for outdoor recreation: two swimming pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and an all-purpose athletic field. Other perks include a snack bar, game area, children’s playground, and picnic and barbecue areas. Open and accessible from Memorial Day to Labor Day, dues are extremely affordable at approximately $185 per year.
Big Trees Village homes feature individual septic systems and are served by Calaveras County Water District. Roads are county-maintained, including winter snow removal/plowing. With Bear Valley Mountain Resort just 18 miles away, BTV is a perfect place to call home for downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
“Big Trees Village Recreation Center is the social HUB of the BTVPOA! In addition to our swimming facility that is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Recreation Center has 14 acres of fun! Join us for tennis, bocce, frisbee golf, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, a children’s playground, a multi-purpose field, and a large (reservable) BBQ area complete with professional grilling equipment and much, much more. All Association members are invited to enjoy these facilities year-round. Equipment is available to borrow.”
